Christine Marie AlemshahThe ever-loving island girl …

Christine Alemshah’s publication credits include short stories for Our Little Friend, Knowonder, Meegenius, and Stories for Children. She has written stories for children since completing an undergraduate course in writing for children and furthered her writing studies by completing Anastasia Suen’s Picture Book & Chapter Book Workshops and Susanna Leonard Hill’s Making Picture Book Magic. She is an SCBWI and 12×12 in 2021 member. She also served as an Elementary School Child Care Manager for 15 years and is a classically trained vocalist.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, daughter to a first-generation Filipino immigrant, her earliest memories include the sweet taste of pineapples and sunny rain sounds.
