I love visiting schools and libraries to share the creative process behind picture books. My interactive presentations introduce students to the world of children’s books while encouraging creativity, curiosity, and storytelling.

Students will also learn about the inspiration behind the award-winning picture book Bea’s Balikbayan Box of Treasures and the Filipino tradition that inspired the story.

Presentations available for the following grade levels:

TK-1st grade: Where is Bea? Storytime Adventure — 25-30 minutes

2nd-3rd Grade: Letters & Pictures Care Packages — 35-40 minutes

4th-5th Grade: Letters, Stories & Connection — 40-45 minutes

6th-8th Grade: How to Create a Picture Book — 45 minutes
